In-house testing and validation
Throughout manufacturing, we conduct extensive tests to assess the physical and chemical properties of raw materials and production samples, ensuring their consistency and suitability for demanding applications. These tests include humidity checks, melt flow index measurements, tensile properties and charpy impact tests.
Additionally, as required by the client, Lankhorst can carry out a number of tests in house on prototype products during a project. These tests can include impact tests, fit up tests, friction force resistance tests, stinger roller simulations, and bending radius.
KLP® quality at the core
KLP® material is produced using a carefully balanced composition of raw materials. Proven production methods ensure that the quality is always consistent and meets high standards. At Lankhorst’s laboratory, extensive research is conducted into the properties of plastics and the behaviour of solid plastic components. Aspects such as bending strength, elasticity, impact resistance and weather durability are thoroughly tested.
These rigorous quality controls result in a reliable and high-grade material. KLP® therefore forms the solid foundation for sustainable products in civil engineering and infrastructure.
