They are wear-resistant, rot- and splinter-free, and do not leave black marks on ship hulls. The right version for every application
KLP® Walers & Rubbing Posts are available in various versions, including a steel-reinforced variant. They are produced according to Rijkswaterstaat (the Dutch Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management) guidelines and have been tested by TNO for impact resistance, elasticity, and durability. In addition to the specially reinforced PE material for intensive use, a version in standard KLP® compound is also available. This is ideal for less demanding applications, such as fenders at dock shelters or retaining walls, offering a cost-effective alternative while maintaining KLP® quality.
