The KLP® Coil Transport Cradle combines flexibility and strength to ensure safe coil transport in any direction. Whether loaded longitudinally or transversely, it adapts to a wide range of trailer configurations, including standard flatbed trailers. By using standard tensioning straps instead of chains, the cradle simplifies securing, speeds up loading and unloading, and helps protect both the coil surface and the trailer bed.
Perfectly suited for daily coil logistics, the cradle can be handled by forklift or overhead crane and is compatible with a wide variety of trailers. Its lightweight yet robust polymer construction optimizes payload capacity, offers additional protection for trailer floors, and ensures reliable performance under demanding transport conditions.
The KLP® Coil Transport Cradle is TÜV certified and tested according to VDI 2700, confirming compliance with the highest safety standards for load securing during transport. In addition, Lankhorst Engineered Products operates under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, ensuring consistent quality, environmental responsibility and occupational safety across all processes.
The carbon footprint of a complete set of two cradles is only 22.54 kg CO₂-eq.*
*Based on LCA methodology in accordance with NEN-EN 15804:2012+A2:2019, covering life cycle stages A1–A3.
