Robust grip with extra comfort
Ekogrip is a strong polyethylene sheet with a 2 mm thick virgin TPE top layer with a grain structure. The PE base provides mechanical strength and shape stability, while the TPE top layer offers a comfortable, non-slip finish. Colourgrip is the colored variant of Ekogrip and combines the same technical properties with visual impact. Ideal where safety and appearance come together.

Safety and sustainability in one solution
Ekogrip and Colourgrip are high-quality plastic sheets in which Ekon combines its material knowledge of polyethylene (PE) with the functional benefits of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). The result is a robust, durable sheet with a comfortable, wear-resistant, and above all safe anti-slip top layer.
Both products are developed for applications where grip, hygiene, sustainability, and processability come together. From industrial floors and transport solutions to playground equipment and applications in animal husbandry.
The base of Ekogrip and Colourgrip consists of a solid polyethylene sheet. PE is known for its high impact resistance, good chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, long service life, and excellent processability.
On this stable base, a approximately 2 mm thick virgin TPE top layer is applied via co-extrusion. This elastomer layer has a grain structure and gives the material soft-touch properties, extra slip resistance, comfort on direct contact, and improved safety in wet conditions. For applications where extra security is needed, for example with moisture, manure, or intensive use, the sheet can additionally be provided with a stud structure.
