Lankhorst MPD Riser Protection System design
The Lankhorst MPD Riser Protection System is made from a sustainable, robust, recycled polyethylene (PE) and is designed to protect your MPD riser, auxiliary line and ciritcal equipemnt along the line during running of the joint.
It design consists of our patented Riser Fin Protection System of multiple fins per joint (typically 5–8). Around this core of Riser Fins, additional parts are assembled to the configuration to complete a full coverage of the MPD Riser.

The Lankhorst MPD riser protection system is engineered to offer the highest protection of the bare riser pipe, but also all auxiliary lines, fragile sensors, clamps and measurement equipment typically integrated into an MPD riser setup. It ensures enhanced integrity, safer handling, and reduced damage risks during deployment, recovery, and storage.
The material used for production is selected based upon its compression and impact resistance in the diverse weathers conditions of the Arctic and the Gulf of Mexico, and anything in between. With a core of our Riser Fins System, installation is made efficient and safe with all components being under 30 kg.
