Lankhorst Quick Guard design
The Lankhorst UraGuard system is made from a sustainable, robust, recycled polyethylene (PE) and is designed to protect your cable or umbilical against high impact, abrasion and at crossings. The design provides improved impact and abrasion resistance when compared to a standard UraGuard.
The flexible material allows for a minimum bend radius, reducing strain on pipelines and cables and offer optimal protection against rock dumping, dropped objects and other offshore conditions that cause high impact and abrasion on pipelines.
It design consists of two half shells with built-in click fit fingers that lock the shells together around the pipe. Only one single strap is needed to secure the Quick Guard onto the pipe. These two features drastically reduces the installation time required onboard, which leads to a very cost efficient solution to protect your pipeline against high-impact and abrasion.
Optimized for installation
Lankhorst Quick Guards are engineered to optimize installation time on board and at the same time offer superior protection against rock dumping, dropped objects and other offshore conditions that cause high impact and abrasion on pipelines.
The half shells are light weight, safe to handle and fast to install. Due to the built-in click fit finger design the shells lock easily together around the pipeline, offering secure and easy fitting, whilst ensuring alignment during installation. The Quick Guard system is secured using only one strap, placed on the inside of the Quick Guard, leading to an even spacing of the strapping along the pipeline without measuring, along with a smooth consistent outer diameter.
