Our UraGuards are manufactured from high-performance polyurethane (PU) and are designed to protect your cable or umbilical against large impact, high levels of abrasion and on crossings.

The Lankhorst UraGuard system is made from marine-grade, high-performance polyurethane (PU) and is designed to protect your cable or umbilical against high impact, abrasion and at crossings. The flexible material allows for a minimum bend radius, reducing strain on pipelines and cables and offer optimal protection against rock dumping, dropped objects and other offshore conditions that cause high impact and abrasion on pipelines.
Designed to be safe to handle and easy to install, the UraGuards offer not only excellent protection against large impact and high abrasion, but also fast installation, minimizing vessel time and operational costs. The design offers overlapping and interlocking half shells that provide a close fitting protection around the pipeline and also ensure alignment during installation. UraGuards are available in a wide range of inside diameters, lengths and wall thicknesses in lengths up to 2 metres.
Lankhorst UraGuards are engineered for easy and fast installation. The half shells are light weight, safe to handle and fast to install. Due to the overlapping and interlocking of the half shells the UraGuards offer close fitting protection around the pipeline, whilst ensuring alignment during installation.
The UraGuard system is secured using either corrosion resistant Alloy 625 or glass filled nylon strapping, placed in recesses on the product during installation. These recesses ensure an even spacing of the strapping along the pipeline without measuring, along with a smooth consistent outer diameter.
